About Us

Doers of the Word Church is a local assembly of Born-Again, Spirit-Filled Believers who love God, hate sin, and love people, especially the true Saints of God.

Our emphasis is on perfecting the Saints of God to be Doers of His Word and not just hearers only.  In these last and evil days, we also put a heavy emphasis on exposing false doctrines and false teachers--not to judge or condemn them, but to protect and perfect the hearers.  The Word of God warns us and instructs us very clearly on how to deal with these doctrines of devils and ministers of satan.  Please read the following: Ezekiel 34 (entire chapter); Isaiah 56:10-12; Matthew 7:13-29; 2 Corinthians 2:17; 2 Corinthians 11: 4-15; Galatians 1:1-20; 1 Timothy 6 (entire chapter) and 2 Peter 2 (entire chapter).

While we believe the entire Word of God is the foundation of all local churches and ministries ordained and called by God, certain scriptures were specifically used to spiritually form and establish Doers of the Word.

We would like to share the following foundational scriptures with you as reminders of what God called us to believe, to be, and to do as an assembly of Believers.  Please read and study the following scriptures below:

Foundational Scriptures of Doers of the Word

Luke 9:23-24

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Ephesians 4:11-16

Philippians 4:9

Hebrews 6:1

James 1:22-25; 2:12-16

There is a three-step process or system founded on Ephesians 4:12 that guides the operation of the ministry here at Doers of the Word Church:

"For the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:" (KJV)

Step 1 - Perfecting the Saints of God with the Word of God

Step 2 - Working the ministry by Doing the Word of God

Step 3 - Edifying the Body of Christ by Sharing the Word of God

First, we perfect the Saints so that we can effectively and successfully work the ministry.  Only then can we truly edify the Body of Christ.
